The Biggest and Baddest Pig Ever

I just read this story where  an 11-year-old boy used a pistol to kill a wild hog his father says weighed a staggering 1,051 pounds and measured 9 feet 4, from the tip of its snout to the base of its tail.  He said he shot the huge animal eight times with a .50-caliber revolver and chased it for three hours through hilly woods before finishing it off with a point-blank shot.

The story i wrote about the Biggest and Baddest Bear has gotten a tremendous amount of attention. I’m curious what those readers would think of this.

  1. 11 year old kid killed a wild boar that huge.
    Someone should lock that kid up man. Kidding.
    That’s certainly cool of the kid. But such a rare sighting of the animal… shouldn’t he have let it live instead?
    And chasing the wild boar for 3 hours straight with the intention of solely hunting and killing it, that’s a little freaky.

  4. dats a big pig wouldnt he be too scared to even shoot it or face it anyways thats pretty amazing but wat i heard is that a big guy who killed it not a kid and i as well agree with the first comment

  7. Wild pigs are actually extremly dangerous. Even domesticated ones will turn on farmers if they get in the way of the food or young. And it only takes a few weeks for a domesticated pig to go “wild”. Their fur will grow longer and they develope tusks. Really scary.

  10. There is no way that this is a real picture, I doubt that there is a 1050 lbs pig running around, well now supposedly dead. But wasn’t there something like this on the Discovery Channel and when they dug up the pig, that was claimed to be super colossal huge, it was about half the size that was claimed.

    Looks like a doctored picture to me.

  11. umm i think its photoshoped,the worlds fattest man weighs around 1000 pounds and wasnt that big.And why does an 11 year old kid go out alone in the bush for three hours and shoots a massive pig.Plus he needs a license to hunt it,but even if he does he still needs an adult to be with him.

  13. That pic of the boy standing behind the pig has been enlarged several times. That is is so fake! You mean to tell me that overweight kid chased the pig for three hours, give me a break he’s fat and hella out of shape!

  14. The thing that comes to my mind is an 11 year old BOY shooting a .50 handgun. Do you realize most men would have a problem handling the recoil from such a powerful firearm like that. Go on YOUTube and search for the .50 & .60 cal pistol vids and see for yourself. This isn
    t a “Dirty Harry” movie and Inspector Callahan shoots his .44 mag one handed multiple times. Even that has a pretty good kick unless he was use some light loads which in the lovie i think he was.

  19. Thats animal cruelty!ll That kid has nothing else better to do than to chase and kill a pig (which was probably the only over sized pig on this planet) !!! Way to go kid, you’ve accomplished so much!

  20. How long is a .50 pistola? 10″ barrel 5″ frame = 15″? Look at the picture. Use the pistola as a measure. I get bout 14′. Now lay out 14′ on the ground. You’ll have a better understanding why we should only believe half what you see and nothing you hear.

  21. like a couple of people have been saying that is a big f##king pig i wouldnt have been scared actully i would have been more amaze then scared its pretty crazy that pig took eight shots and still kept running
